Equilo, a data analytics platform and social enterprise, is working with women-led and -focused SWEEF Capital, a Singapore-based private equity fund, to test, refine and scale the application of SWEEF’s Gender ROI™ Assessment Tool. This tool, Equilo writes, “supports organizations to conduct a gender analysis of their organization’s leadership, workforce, value chain, and society where they operate. The results are then overlaid with the gender equality country context to provide a clear view of where the organization stands relative to its context along with recommended actions.” For fund managers, it can also compile data from multiple investee organizations into aggregated portfolio-level gender assessments. Dr. Edward Jackson serves on the steering committee overseeing the development of the Gender ROI Assessment Tool.
