Overview

Canadian universities, colleges and institutes, and their counterparts in the Global South, can forge creative, reciprocal partnerships with the private, public and non-profit sectors to incubate and scale up social businesses in order to optimize their development impact.  That is the theme of a discussion paper commissioned by World University Services of Canada for WUSC’s 2018 Members’ Roundtable at the University of Ottawa.  Following the Roundtable, the paper was revised and expanded to include inputs and observations from the participants at the event.

Results

In early 2019, the revised paper was published.  It was also presented at the 2019 Colleges and Institutes Canada Conference in Niagara Falls.  And it is being disseminated among education, development and business professionals and academics.  To read the report, please click here
