Knowledge Production and Dissemination by CSOs
Senior Associate Denise Beaulieu has just published an article in the Knowledge Management for Development Journal, entitled “Diversity and tension in knowledge production and dissemination: a closer look at the activities of 10 civil society organizations in Ghana.”
Dr. Beaulieu, a Visiting Scholar at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University as well as a management consultant, highlights the diverse processes CSOs use to produce and disseminate knowledge. Power imbalances limit their ability to participate with governments and other actors in policy debates.
